Coldplay recently performed two sold-out concerts at Stanford Stadium, marking the start of their North American tour. Over the course of two nights, the band played for a total of 86,000 fans. The events were hosted by Stanford Athletics and Stanford Live.
The performances featured songs from Coldplay’s 25-year career. The band members include lead singer Chris Martin, bass player Guy Berryman, guitarist Jonny Buckland, and drummer Will Champion. During the concerts, they performed on an end-zone main stage with large screens and also used two smaller stages placed midfield.
Both shows included fireworks displays that enhanced the experience for attendees. At the conclusion of each concert, Coldplay expressed their gratitude to everyone involved in making the events possible, including their fans.
